Persohotel International is seeking bilingual professionals fluent in Japanese and English to join luxury RETAIL cruise ship crews. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional and personalized retail service, creating a memorable shopping experience for all guests.
- Drive sales performance by actively engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products across categories such as jewelry, watches, fragrances, cosmetics, and souvenirs.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques and product knowledge.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of all products, brands, and ongoing promotions to confidently assist guests and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld, keeping displays attractive, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Process transactions accurately using onboard retail systems, handling payments and inventory with integrity and attention to detail.
- Build strong relationships with guests, encouraging repeat business and delivering a luxury-level shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the retail team to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of personal presentation, professionalism, and customer engagement at all times.
- Comply with all onboard safety, security, and operational regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Fluency in Japanese (native or bilingual) and advanced proficiency in English.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in customer service, guest services, sales,coordination, or food and beverage roles.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Proactive, service-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Flexibility and availability to commit to 6-month contracts onboard cruise ships.
- Immediate availability to start working.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of additional languages.
- Certifications in customer service or hospitality.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and efficient approach.
